BetMcLean Cup: holders Cliftonville edge out Newry City to reach last four

Linfield, Coleraine and Glentoran all through to semi-finals

Cliftonville are through to the final of the BetMcLean Cup - after a 3-2 win over Newry City at Solitude.

The holders were 2-0 down at half time after goals from Brian Healy and Donal Scullion.

But the Reds replied with a Joe Gormley double and a Ronan Hale (main pic) winner.

They will now face last year's beaten finalists, Coleraine for a place in the final.

The Bannsiders booked their place with a 3-0 win over Dungannon Swifts.

Meanwhile, Linfield will take on Big Two rivals Glentoran in the semis.

Linfield take on Annagh United in the BetMclean Cup

The Blues won 3-0 at home to Championship side Annagh United, who had knocked out Larne in the previous round,

And the Glens progressed with a 2-0 win over Championship leaders Loughgall.
