Belfast Giants 2-1 Dundee Stars

The Belfast Giants left it late to claim their first Elite League win of the season, recovering to beat Dundee Stars 2-1 at the SSE Arena.

Marquardt had given the visitors the early lead at 4:30, assisted by Brian Hart.

It took until 38:55 for the Giants to hit back, as an unassisted Mark Garside grabbed the equaliser.

The game looked to be heading for overtime until 56:19 when Kyle Baun scored what proved to be the winning goal, assisted by Guillaume Gelinas.

The victory halted a 3 game run of consecutive defeats for the Belfast Giants.
