Belfast boxer Michael Conlan will make his professional debut at Madison Square Garden on St Patrick’s Day with UFC star Conor McGregor walking him into the ring.
The 2012 Olympic Bronze medallist and 2015 World Amateur champion will headline the event on 17th March against Denver’s Tim Ibarra in a junior featherweight bout.
On Saturday, Michael Conlan tweeted a picture with the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion.
It's thought McGregor is in America to begin talks about a potential Floyd Mayweather showdown.
