Antrim man into Welsh Open third round after comfortable win
Mark Allen was in superb form to ease through to the third round of the Welsh Open.
The Antrim man beat Thailand’s Boonyarit Keattikun 4-1 last night and now faces China’s Mei Xi Wen.
However, despite racing into a three-frame lead, defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan is out of the competition after losing 4-3 to Mark Davis.
Schoolboy Jackson Page has also reached the last 32.
The 15-year-old Welsh boy beat John Astley 4-3.
