Bale stars as Wales top Group B

Wales head to the knockout phase of Euro 2016 as Group B winners.

Goals from Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Neil Taylor gave them an emphatic 3-0 win over Russia last night in Toulouse.

Bale is now the tournament's top scorers with three goals in three games.

Chris Coleman’s side face a third placed team from Groups A, C and D in the last 16. Northern Ireland could be a possible opponent.

Meanwhile, England progress as Group B runners up after a lacklustre 0-0 draw with Slovakia.

They will finish a second-placed side from Group F.

That means Hungary, Iceland, Portugal or Austria will be their next opponents.
