St. Mary’s Magherafelt and Holy Trinity Cookstown prepare to battle on Sunday afternoon, but only one team will take home the coveted MacRory Cup crown. Who will it be?
Sunday will be a historic day for everyone involved, this is the first time Holy Trinity has reached the Final.
Downtown Cool FM's Gareth McCullough caught up with the teams ahead of the big game this weekend.
Holy Trinity's captain Ruairi McHugh shared his thoughts on being a part of his school's history.
"We've created history so far by getting here, but the job isn't finished yet. We're going to keep going, we're working hard and we want to get our hands on the cup.
"Our training camp is going well, there's a great buzz about it, we've got something big to look forward to now. Everyone from past pupils to teachers are all excited for it."
St Mary’s know what it takes to win, having first lifted the MacRory Cup in 2017 defeating St Colman’s Newry in the Final.
Team captain Eoin McEvoy says the school is ‘buzzing’ ahead of the big game. "Ever since the semi-final, there's been a big increase in the buzz around school, the team just can't wait to get stuck in and play."
He also mentioned that it's a fair game, St Mary's might have won before but it's a different team and it's all still to play for.
"They were given the undeserved 'underdog' title in the semi-final, we all knew it was going to be a tight game and it was. We need a big performance on Sunday if we want to win it.
"We didn't get a competition last year, so we only really get one roll of the dice, it would be magical we get up the steps.

The MacRory Cup Final takes place Sunday 13th February, Athletic Grounds, Armagh.
- Turnstiles open from 1.30pm, with the Final starting at 2.30pm
- Entry to the grounds shall be via the rear of the main stand ONLY
- Parking is available in the CBS Car Park
- The game is an all-ticket event, tickets can be purchased both online and at the Athletic Grounds, Armagh
