Belfast won the bid to host the World Championship in 2016 and it is the first time in 25 years the international ice-hockey tournament takes place in the UK.
Team GB, featuring some stars from our very own Belfast Giants, are the host nation and will be joined by Japan, Netherlands, Lithuania, Croatia and Estonia for a festival of ice-hockey in Belfast as the 6 nations will play 15 games for Gold, Silver and Bronze as well as going all out for promotion and fighting against relegation.
