Yellow weather warning issued for NI this week
Northern Ireland saw its wettest January is 149 years, with over 40 consecutive days of rain so far this year.
The Met Office has kickstarted the week with a yellow weather warning for ice across NI, which comes into affect from 8pm this evening (Mon 16th Feb) to 10am tomorrow (Tues 17th Feb).
The forecasters have warned "wintry showers followed by clearing skies will lead to the risk of ice on Monday night into Tuesday morning."

Today: Mostly cloudy this morning and the first part of the afternoon with showers, or occasionally longer spells of rain. Becoming drier and brighter through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Tonight: Mainly dry with variable amounts of cloud. The odd shower will affect the north and east during the first part of the night. Frost and icy patches. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Tuesday: All parts will have a dry day with some spells of sunshine. Cold. Light winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Dry and cold on Wednesday and Thursday with bright spells. Overnight frost. Milder on Friday with rain spreading east at times.
