Looks like there's more warm weather on the way this week
YES PLEASE 🙌
Last updated 31st May 2021
When the sun finally makes an appearance, there's no place like home!
Some of the highest temperatures recorded across Northern Ireland on Sunday included 23°C degrees in Derry/Londonderry and 21°C degrees in Belfast.
As the warm weather looks set to continue, the Met Office has warned the public to make sure they don plenty of sun cream as UV levels will be very high.
The Met Office said: “Keep covered and wear a hat and sunglasses, spend time in the shade and use a high factor sun cream with good UVA protection to protect yourself.”
Tomorrow (Tuesday 1st) looks set to be another bright day with some warm sunshine, with a max temperature of 22°C.
As the week continues there also remains a risk of thunderstorms, especially in the east and south-east of NI, accompanied by very warm or hot conditions.
