High pressure will continue to bring warm and dry weather this week across Northern Ireland.

Met Office Chief Meteorologist, Paul Gundersen, said: “As with last week, the sunniest and warmest weather will be to the west of the UK with cooler, cloudier conditions persisting in the east for the next few days.

Whilst dry settled weather is enjoyed by some it does increase pollen levels.

Grass pollen season is underway, with pressures remaining HIGH throughout the week.

Northern Ireland's five-day forecast:

Wednesday: Any overnight low cloud clearing away in the morning to leave a dry day with some good spells of sunshine. Warm in the west. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday: Remaining dry and settled with some good spells of sunshine. Remaining warm, especially across the west.
