Warm sunshine and highs of 17C to hit Northern Ireland this week ☀️🍦
Hello spring!
Northern Ireland is set for another taste of spring this week, forecasters say.
We can expect a few days of above-average temperatures with "bright and sunny spells".
"The mercury may rise up to 16C around the coast and 17C inland on Wednesday and Thursday."
According to the Met Office settled conditions will continue through the weekend and then it starts to turn a little bit cooler next week.
NORTHERN IRELAND FIVE DAY FORECAST
Today:
A damp and cloudy start with patchy light rain and drizzle. Drier and brighter conditions reaching the north coast by lunchtime and gradually becoming brighter elsewhere during the afternoon with some sunny spells developing. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Wednesday:
A frost in places at first, then mainly dry with bright or sunny spells. Rather cool, but feeling pleasant in afternoon sunshine with light winds, but chilly in the shade. Maximum temperature 15-17 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Dry and settled with bright and warm sunny spells by day and clear spells at night. Feeling pleasant in any afternoon sunshine, but chilly nights with the risk of a frost.
