Irish Open family Tuesday, Portstewart Golf Club, July 4

Family Tuesday** **offers kids a chance to see their golf heroes up close, as well as the opportunity to enjoy the many family activities and entertainment on offer in the tented village.

Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Justin Rose are among many of the world’s best golfers preparing for the main competition, which tees off on the Thursday, July 6.

Adult tickets ÂŁ15, kids (under 16) free entry all week.

Dalriada Festival, Glenarm Castle, July 15 & 16

With sporting, music and food events from both Ireland and Scotland, the Dalriada Festival offers something for everyone.

Highland Games, fine foods, celebrity chef demonstrations, arts and crafts, live music and children’s entertainment are just some of what's on offer.

Family festival, Grand Opera House, Belfast, July 4-6

This three day event offers street dance and creative workshops, daily auditorium guided tours giving the kids a chance to operate the Theatre's lighting and sound desks as well as the chance to create a whistle-stop Peter Pan performance. Places are limited and should be booked in advance.

Minevention, Titanic Exhibition Centre, Belfast, July 28

Famous Youtubers from the Minecraft community travel to Belfast to meet fans in a day of Minecraft madness. Join in build battles, tournaments and gaming madness as well as retro gaming for the older generation, two gaming buses and lots more.

Ulster rugby family fun day, Kingspan stadium, Belfast, July 28

Join the squad from 3pm to 6pm for the annual family fun day, giving supporters a chance to meet and greet the members of the 2017/18 team. Families can also enjoy an action-packed afternoon of on and off pitch activities, whilst helping to raise much needed funds.
