The Met Office has warned that some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are possible as a yellow weather warning remains in place.

The Ice warning for parts of Northern Ireland will lasts until midday today (Thursday) with the Met Office advising some disruption is due to icy surfaces.

What to expect

  • Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
  • Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle path
  • Some roads and railways may be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
