Woman dies in suspected gas leak

A woman in her 60s has died in a suspected gas leak in Cookstown..

Police say another man in his 70s - who was also in the house on Drum road - was taken to hospital around 6.46am on Tuesday morning.

NIAS despatched four Emergency Ambulance crews and one Hazardous Area Response Paramedic to the incident.

The ambulance service said three people in total were treated at the scene and taken to Craigavon Area Hospital.
