West Belfast home hit by aggravated burglary

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary of a house in Earlscourt Street in west Belfast on Friday night.

It was reported that around 8.50pm 3 males forced their way into a house brandishing a gun and making demands.

The males made off on foot, two along Earlscourt Street and the third made off towards Cavendish Street.

A 31 year old man was arrested in the west Belfast area later that night and remains in police custody at this time.

Detective Sergeant Kelly is appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Musgrave Police Station on 101 quoting reference number 1661 of 08/12/17.
