Translink have announced essential engineering works will be carried out between Great Victoria Street and Yorkgate stations in Belfast this Sunday (5th March)

Bus substitution services will be in place - passengers are advised to check timetables in advance on the Translink website, www.translink.co.uk or by using the Journey Planner app.

Larne and Derry~Londonderry line passengers can continue to travel to Belfast Yorkgate Station and use the onward bus substitution service to connect to and from Belfast Great Victoria Street and Lanyon Place stations.

Passengers from Botanic and City Hospital travelling to Larne or Derry~Londonderry line stations should also use bus subs from Belfast Great Victoria Street and Lanyon Place.

A normal timetable will operate between Belfast Yorkgate and Derry~Londonderry; and between Yorkgate Belfast and Larne.

Passengers should allow extra time for their journeys and check before travelling, as bus substitution times may differ from scheduled rail departure times.

Train tickets will also be valid for use on Metro scheduled services to Yorkgate station.
