Man taken to hospital following bus crash in Antrim
A Translink bus has crashed in Antrim.
It happened on Ballyrobin Road in the early hours of this morning.
The driver, who was the only person on board at the time, was taken to hospital for treatment.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
A statement from Translink said: “We can confirm that one of our buses was involved in a road traffic collision on Ballyrobin Road, Antrim, in the early hours of Saturday, 7 December. The driver, who was the only person on board at the time, was taken to hospital for treatment. We can confirm that the driver has since been discharged from hospital.
Our immediate priority is the welfare of our colleague, and we are providing support to them and their family. An internal investigation is underway, and we are working closely with the relevant authorities to establish the circumstances of the incident.
