A stitch in time could save lives …

That’s the message from a Co Tyrone designer who is appealing for help in making new health-worker scrubs.

Omagh woman Clara Maybin launched an online challenge after a nurse relative said there was shortage of uniforms.

Since then, hundreds have become involved and, to date, more than £3,000 raised on their just giving page (see link below)

Clara told Downtown & Cool FM “It’s finding the material and finding the material from the right fabric people.

“So we are just reaching out to people who may have fabric in their store to get in touch.”
