Suspicious object declared hoax

A security alert which disrupted part of Lurgan for most of yesterday was an elaborate hoax

A suspicious object was found in Allenhill Park and forced residents out of their homes for a number of hours.

It was examined by Army Technical Officers and taken away.

Detectives have slammed those responsible.
