Suspected cannabis worth around £150,000 found by police in Belfast

A man is due in court on Monday, on suspicion of drugs-related offences.

It is after police found a quantity of suspected herbal cannabis worth an estimated £150,000 in the harbour area of Belfast's West Bank road.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The man has been charged with possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B controlled drug, and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.

"He is due to appear Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning, 25th November.

"As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
