Stones thrown at police in North Belfast

A fire was set on a main road in North Belfast and stones thrown at emergency services on Saturday night.

Police officers and NI Fire and Rescue personnel were called to the New Lodge area at around 11pm after reports of a fire in the main road.

They were then pelted with stones by young people in the area, who also targeted passing motorists.

Police have urged parents to be aware of where their children are late at night.
