South Belfast hijacking investigated by PSNI
Police in south Belfast are probing a report of an attempted armed hijacking.
It was reported a man driving a van was blocked from leaving a car park in the Shaw's Bridge area just after 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Two men got out of a black Astra car, one armed with a suspected BB gun and demanded the keys to the van.
One of the men made off on foot, the other driving off in the car towards Milltown Road.
