Shops evacuated in suspected gas explosion
Bang heard in Ballyhackamore on Wednesday afternoon
A number of shops have been evacuated in east Belfast after a suspected gas explosion.
It happened at a property on the Upper Newtownards Road in Ballyhackamore this afternoon.
Traffic diversions are in place from Sandown Road to Eastleigh Drive and are expected to be in place for a while.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
