Shootings in Londonderry leaves man in hospital

A man has been shot in the leg in Derry/Londonderry.

A group of masked men forced their way into a house in the Ballymagroaty area before firing the gun, around 11pm on Thursday night.

The 60 year old is currently in hospital.

Meanwhile, a shot was fired at a house in the Rossnagalliagh area of the city.

No-one in the house was injured and police enquiries are continuing.

Anyone with information on either shootings has been asked to call police on 101.
