Royal visit: cheers for Charles and Camilla as they mark Day 2 in Belfast

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall began day two of their visit to Northern Ireland today (Wednesday) with a trip to CS Lewis Square in Belfast.
Hundreds of well-wishers lined the square, with some waving flags and cheering, to welcome the Royal couple.
They were guided around by people dressed as characters from CS Lewis's The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe including Mr Tumnus and the White Witch.
The Prince of Wales also officially reopened Belfast’s Grand Opera House following the Theatre’s recent £12.2 million restoration and development project.
Yesterday, the couple became the first members of the Royal family to visit Cookstown which boasts one of the longest high streets in all of Ireland.
Part of the more than a mile-long main street was cordoned off to traffic and lined with hundreds of schoolchildren waving Union flags.
The royal couple went on a walkabout to meet well-wishers, as well as being introduced to local businesses people and community members.

Their Royal Highnesses arrived at the Aslan statue and visited stalls along the Narnia-themed sculpture walk, each showcasing East Side Partnerships community activities.
Locals came from far and wide to catch a glimpse of the future King.
