A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act in Draperstown.

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating dissident republican activity, arrested the 59-year-old man yesterday, (Friday 6th September).

The man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave for questioning.

Police are appealing for information to help them in combatting dissident republican activity.
