Police are investigating reports of a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge.

It happened on the Castlewellan Road in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 19th March).

The PSNI said it was reported at around 2.10am, that two petrol bombs were thrown at the back wall of a house in the area.

Scorch damage was caused to the wall and a window frame.

There were no reports of any injuries.
