PSNI drone and dogs used to search for driver after four-vehicle crash

It happened last night on the Glenshane Road

A driver has fled from the scene of a four-vehicle crash in County Londonderry.

It happened last night (Sunday) at approximately 11pm on the Glenshane Road, Dungiven.

Police used dogs, a drone, and air support to try and locate the driver who has not been tracked down.

A woman required hospital treatment for her injuries – which are not believed to be serious. No other injuries were reported.

A police spokesperson said: "Enquires remain ongoing and we are keen to hear from anyone with information about what happened, or who has dash-cam or mobile phone footage of the collision to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 1864 23/06/24."
