Probe launched after man shot dead in Dublin
45-year-old pronounced dead at scene

A man has been shot dead in Dublin.
The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene at Poppintree Crescent in Ballymun.
The area has been cordoned off for forensic examination.
The State Pathologist has been notified.
The incident occurred shortly after 11.15 on Friday night.
