Police officers assaulted during Portadown disturbance

Four police officers have been assaulted and one man injured during an early morning incident in Portadown.

A 31-year old man's been charged with five counts of assault and one of resisting police following the events in the Thomas Street area after the incident on Saturday, April 27th.

He is due before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Monday.
