Police name young man who died in Co Tyrone crash
Police have named the young man who died in a crash in County Tyrone yesterday as 21 year old Thomas Lagan.
He was from the Cookstown area.
Two cars were involved in the collision on the Pomeroy Road in Cookstown.
A woman was also taken been taken to hospital.
A new statement from the PSNI said, “The Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm the man who died as a result of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Friday morning, 10th October was 21-year-old Thomas Lagan from the Cookstown area.”
“Mr Lagan was the driver of a grey Volkswagen Bora involved in a serious collision with a grey Seat Leon on the Pomeroy Road. He was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.”
“Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Collision Investigation Unit continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.”
