Police carry out illegal money-lending related searches in Londonderry

Police have seized cash in Londonderry as part of an investigation into illegal money-lending.

A PSNI official said the discovery was made on Wednesday in Derry's cityside area.

"As well as the cash, a number of mobile phones were removed for forensic examination.

"While no arrests were made, enquiries are ongoing".
