A petrol bomb has been thrown through the window of a home in Coleraine.
Three people were inside at time of the incident which happened in the Maple Drive area early yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
The occupants were able to extinguish the fire and no one was injured.
Witnesses to the incident or those with information are being asked to contact authorities.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "It was reported that a petrol bomb was thrown through the front window of a house in the Maple Drive area of the town at approximately 1.30am.
"Three people were inside the property at the time, and managed to extinguish the fire.
"Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
"Inquiries to establish the circumstances of the report are under way, and we would appeal to anyone who has any information which could assist us, to get in touch."
