Pensioner 'seriously hurt' in Derry collision
A pensioner has reportedly been left with life threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Londonderry on Saturday.
It's believed a grey Peugeot people carrier struck the man in his 80s in the Bishop Street area at around 1.30pm.
He suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital.
A 53-year-old man was arrested and questioned on suspicion of driving without due care and attention, before being released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
