Pensioner dies in Co. Down crash

A 78 year old man has died after he was knocked down outside Hillsborough on Tuesday night.
He was walking on the Glebe Road in Annahilt when he was struck by a car shortly before 9pm.
The driver of the Volvo car was spoken to by police at the scene.
The PSNI is appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, or who witnessed the collision to contact them.
It happened just 12 hours after a woman was killed when she was struck by a lorry in Belfast City centre.
The death toll on our roads so far this year now stands at 61.
