Pedestrian dies following fatal collision on M1 motorway

A 22 year old pedestrian has died following a collision on the the M1 motorway.

Daryl Thompson from the Beragh area lost his life after he was struck by a car between junction 14 and junction 15 near Tamnamore at around 10.20pm on Saturday night.

Police would appeal to anyone who was travelling on the M1 motorway last night and witnessed this incident to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1477 10/11/18.
