Author: Emma DicksonPublished 21st Jan 2023

The Oh Yeah Music Centre, in the heart of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, was gifted one of only fifty limited edition, John Lennon & Yoko Ono vinyl records.

Hand-cut at Abbey Road Studios, the record (#44 of 50) is a rare 2020 Ultimate Mix of Happy Xmas (War Is Over) by John Lennon & Yoko Ono - first released fifty years ago, in December 1971.

The gift also includes a machine printed signature from Yoko, making this incredibly collectible.

Public auctions via eBay have fetched £5,000+.

The deadline for the auction is 25th January 2023 at 12:00pm, where 100% of the proceeds from this auction will go towards 'The Carol Clerk Bursary' supported by Oh Yeah Music Centre.

"We are incredibly grateful and excited to make available to the public a piece of iconic music history," explains Charlene Hegarty, Talent Development Manager.

"The best part about it is that every single person who enters the raffle to win the collectible vinyl will be doing their part to support future creative generations - which cuts to the core of what Oh Yeah is all about."
