No further covid deaths in NI

The Department of Health has today (Sun) recorded no further covid-related deaths in Northern Ireland.

It comes after the first covid-related death in 11 days was reported on Saturday.

63 positive cases have been reported over the past 24 hours.

Further data will be made available when the Department’s covid dashboard is next updated after the bank holiday.

Northern Ireland recently began to emerge from a lockdown which began at Christmas.

The reopening of indoor hospitality and visitor attractions were among the most recent relaxations.
