Man suffers fractured jaw in Belfast assault

A man has suffered a fractured jaw during an assault in Belfast.

It happened on Tuesday afternoon in Bedford Street as the man, in his 30s, was attacked by two men outside licensed premises.

The victim was required to stay in hospital for a number of days following the assault.

The first attacker is described as around 5'8" tall, large build with ginger hair and was wearing a grey hoodie.

The second was said to be around 5'10", tall, of large build with dark hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket and a white t-shirt.

Police are appealing for information.
