Man due in court accused of Londonderry assault

Police say as is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

A 28-year old man is due before Londonderry Magistrates court next month charged with assault.

It is after police investigations into an assault on Friday night.

It happened on Derry's John Street.

The man is accused of grievous bodily harm and affray.
