Man dies following Antrim collision

A 20-year old man has died following a road collision in Bushmills.

Police - who are appealing for witnesses - say a report was received of the single-vehicle incident involving a red Kawasaki motorcycle just after 8 o'clock on Thursday night on the Moycraig Road.

He has been named as Robert Anderson from the area.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Officers attended, alongside colleagues from other emergency services. Sadly, the rider of the motorcycle died at the scene from his injuries.

“A full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.

"Officers would appeal to anyone with any information or who may have dash-cam footage available to contact them at the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 2096 of 22/06/23.”
