A man has been arrested by police investigating a "drugs menu" which was circulated online.

The message, which was later removed but has been seen by the Press Association, included prices, how to pay, a list of meet-up points and the statement "time wasters will be blocked".

The 31-year-old man was arrested on the west Belfast area on Thursday afternoon following the message circulating on social media which appeared to relate to illegal drug supply.

Chief Inspector Claire Hamilton urged anyone with information to speak to police.

"Tackling illegal drug supply is a priority for the Police Service of Northern Ireland," she said.

"Drugs bring misery to individuals, families and communities.

"Our message is clear and simple: if you see or know of anyone who is dealing drugs in your local area, then contact us on 101 or make a report online via our website."
