Man arrested following Belfast assault
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Belfast on Wednesday evening.
Police received a report of a group of males involved in a large fights in the Edward Street area at around 5.30pm.
Officers attended the area and spoke to a man who had injuries to his head, he was then taken to hospital for treatment.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on bail to allow for further enquiries."
