Police and firefighters have been battling a large fire at a recycling facility in Ballygomartin Industrial Estate in north Belfast.

Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service described it as a "significant incident".

The blaze began around 8.25 last night.

Members of the public have been asked to stay away from the area and residents advised to keep windows and doors closed.

The PSNI said last night diversions were in place at multiple locations, including the Springmartin Road and West Circular Road junctions
