Ireland has officially launched its bid to host the World Cup in 2023

When it comes to rugby, it’s a sport that has brought a nation together. Fans both North and South of the border are united in the game and when the Ireland team won against the mighty All Blacks, a win that has taken 111 years to happen, the country was ecstatic and so it comes as no surprise when Ireland put their bid in to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

With the help of Hollywood star and Ballymena native Liam Neeson, a short video has been created called ‘Ready For The World’ which will be shown when the bid is officially unveiled at the Aviva Stadium. Using his special set of skills, Liam has narrated this visually stunning short film, showcasing Ireland at it’s very finest and lists why this epic tournament should take place in the country.
