Londonderry: Teen shot in the leg
Attack happened in alleyway in Curryneirin
A teenager is recovering in hospital after he was shot in the legs in Londonderry.
It happened in an alleyway in Milldale Crescent in the Curryneirin area of Derry on Saturday night.
Police are appealing for information.
Sinn Féin Councillor Paul Fleming condemned the shooting:
"There is no place for guns on our streets and those responsible should get off the backs of the community," he said.
He added: "Anyone with information on what happened should bring it forward to police."
