Rising to fame as a finalist of The Voice UK 2020, Brooke Scullion charmed the judges on the show, building a strong friendship with her Grammy award-winning mentor Meghan Trainor.

There’s no stopping this creative and talented 21-year-old from Bellaghy, Co Derry/Londondery.

Brooke has been shortlisted as a finalist to represent Ireland for 2022s Eurovision Song Contestant with her new track, That’s Rich.

A total of 320 songs were submitted to RTÉ to represent Ireland in May at the Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy.

The six chosen entries will battle it out on a special edition of The Late Late Show on February 4th.

Brooke is no stranger to singing battles, having conquered each one on The Voice, getting the chance to duet with pop star Ella Eyre in the final.

The Irish entry will be selected by public vote, a national jury and for the first time ever in an Irish selection, an international jury.

Also competing for the coveted Irish position will be Brendan Murray, Rachel Goode, Janet Grogan, Patrick O’Sullivan and Miles Graham.

Fun Fact - Ireland is currently the most successful country to have participated in the contest, winning a total of seven times.
