Large Belfast city centre fire expected to cause traffic problems

The fire caused the closure of several roads around Belfast City Centre this morning

Police say motorists should expect MULTIPLE road closures in Belfast city centre on Wednesday morning.

It is due to a large fire at a building in Samuel Street - with several roads closed.

Firefighters have been dealing with the outbreak throughout the morning

Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service officials said they were called to the blaze just before 3AM - with six fire appliances and 40 firefighters and 8 officers attending.

A NIFRS official said they received a call of the blaze in the early hours of the morning
