Heading to Queen Bey this weekend? Everything you need to know
Beyoncé brings her Formation world tour to Dublin on Saturday - if you're heading to Croker, here's everything you need to know
Beyonce's Formation World Tour has landed in the UK & Ireland, having already played sold out shows in Manchester, Cardiff, Sunderland & London, Dublin's up next.
She's playing Croke Park on Saturday July 9th and it's going to be awesome
You're in for a night of slick choreography, spectacular staging, vocals and more than a little booty-shaking with world class production that's caused the capacity of Croker to be lowered to 75,000 from 82,000. Just for Bey's gear.
If you're are lucky to be in possession of a ticket, we've put together a guide to the gig, including when Beyonce will be on stage and what you can and can't take into the venue.
I am planning on driving, where can I park?
Nowhere anywhere near the stadium unfortunately! Garda will implement their concert traffic management plan from 4pm. The advice is to park in Dublin City Centre car parks and take public transport services (DART & Luas) towards the stadium. There is an concert offer from selected Park Rite locations.
Beyonce Concert Parking Offer
• Concert Parking for just €5.00 per visit at selected Park Rite car parks • Bring your concert ticket to the car park office to avail of the Park Rite Croke Park event offer or pre-book online at www.parkrite.com • Offer does not include overnight parking • All car park locations are 10 – 15 minute walk to Croke Park
Where do I go for wheelchair access and park with my blue badge?
Please contact the promoter in advance of the concert access@mcd.ie with any accessible requests or queries you might have regarding this concert.
Please note there is LIMITED SPECIAL NEEDS PARKING available in Clonliffe Carpark accessed off Drumcondra Road.
Please email access@mcd.ie for further information regarding registering for an accessible parking pass.
Will there be any road closures in place?
As with all concerts at Croke Park, a Garda Cordon will be in effect on the streets that lead to Croke Park. Only accredited vehicles will be permitted to pass by this cordon. All vehicles will be checked for accreditation.
It is also necessary to temporarily extend the Garda cordon at the end of the event in order to allow the safe exit of concert patrons. This extended cordon will be in place for approximately one hour after the concerts end.
The extended cordon will result in the closure of Lower Drumcondra Road from Whitworth Road to Botanic Avenue & Ballybough Road from Poplar Row to North Circular Road.
Is there a minimum age restriction?
Generally no, however there are some restrictions for standing.
- Under 14’s are NOT allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied. - All Under 16’s attending the concert MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian. - Guardians must remain with under 16’s and take full responsibility for them throughout the event.

What can & can't I bring?
