Holidaymakers from Northern Ireland are plunged into further uncertainty today (Friday) after more countries were added to the UK's travel quarantine list.

The new additions include popular destinations for local travellers such as France and the Netherlands.

In addition, from tomorrow you will have to isolate for 14 days if you return from Monaco, Malta, Aruba and Turks and Caicos just off the Bahamas.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said the measure was necessary to keep coronavirus infections down.

Already, one of the most visited destinations for NI holidaymakers - Spain - is on the quarantine list.
